Legendary shock rock performer, Alice Cooper will be performing a short US tour before trip to Australia late in summer 2009. The jaunt kicks off 31 July by concert in Elizabeth (IN). This tour is supporting "Along Came a Spider", Cooper’s 25th studio record that was released last year. The album is based on the concept of a serial killer who goes by the name of Spider. In an interview, Alice Cooper revealed that the killer “wants eight victims because he wants eight legs to be a spider, and he wraps them in silk because that's what a spider would do”. He adds,“ Spider could not take his eight victim because he fell in love with her.” Cooper has been in the music industry since the 60s and first tasted success in 1971 with “I’m Eighteen”.
