Bell XI Plans Fall 2009 Tour

08/03/2009

The Irish band, Bell XI is going to tour the US this fall, following a supporting tour with U2. The tour starts on September 18 in Hoboken (NJ), ending on October 9 in New York (NY). The Indie rock band has mapped out 16 cities for the tour, including Philadelphia (PA), Madison (WI) and Atlanta (GA). They will be touring in support of the album released in March, ‘Blue Lights on the Runway’. The band’s latest release is their first studio recording without founding member Brian Crosby. It is presumed that he quit the group to focus on production work. Their previous album, ‘Flock’, made it to No. 1 in Ireland, following which it made platinum sales five times. The trio now consists of Paul Noonan, David Geraghty and Dominic Phillips. They will be supported by drummer Rory Doyle and keyboardist Marc Aubele for the tour.
