Augeste Arthur Bondy, known as Scott Bondy, in his previous avatar as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the grunge rock band Verbana, and now pursuing a solo career has recently announced a tour in February and March to promote his solo debut, 'American Hearts'. The tour begins in Charlotte, NC on Feb 11 and goes on till March 7 where it ends with a final performance at Chicago, IL. The tour includes stops at cities like Little Rock, AR; Los Angeles, CA; Santa Cruz, CA and Madison, WI among others.
American Hearts was released in April last year on the Fat Possum label. Before this venture, he performed with high school friends, drummer Les Nuby and bassist Daniel Johnston in Verbana in the early 90s. The band recorded three full-length albums and two EPs but disbanded in 2003, soon after the release of their final album, 'La Musica Negra.'
