Famous blues rocker Geaorge Thorogood and his band, the Destroyers have announced dates for their 2009 tour to promote their latest release 'The Hard Stuff.' The tour has a large itinerary and makes a total of 22 stops between Feb 26 and March 28 in various states in the US and Canada. The tour starts off at Milwaukee (WI) on Feb 26 and stops at cities including Michigan City (IN), East Peoria (IL), Windsor (Ontario), Ithaca (NY), Montclair (NJ), Harrisburg (PA), ending at Harris (MI) on March 28. The band plays a number of nightclubs, small theaters and casinos along with large concert shows.
The band's 'The Hard Stuff' was released in May 2006, and has remained immensely popular since then. It features a lot of original material and also includes a few covers like Jimmy Reed's 'Little Rain' and Hound Dog Taylor's 'Give Me Back My Wig.'
