Detroit-based Kid Rock has announced plans for a summer tour in 2009. The tour begins on June 6, in Enterprise (AL) and hits 28 cities including West Palm Beach (FL), The Woodlands (TX), Cuyahoga Falls (OH), Virginia Beach (VA) and St. Paul (MN) before winding down at Essex Junction (VT) on September 6. On this tour, Kid Rock shares the stage with rock legend Lynyrd Skynyrd. The concert in Detroit (MI) on July 7 also features Robert Randolph and the Family Band. Rock’s recent successes include his latest release "Rock N Roll Jesus," released in 2007, which sky-rocketed No. 1 on its debut and became one of the best-selling albums of 2008. He also won two Grammy nominations- for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his hit single "All Summer Long" and for Best Rock Album for "Rock N Roll Jesus."
