LeAnn Rimes has announced that she is added dates to her summer tour of 2009. The tour which started in Jan has announced an expanded itinerary for the summer. The summer leg began May 8, in Thackerville (OK) and visits cities including Peachtree City (GA), French Lick (IN), Park City (UT), San Diego (CA) and Lancaster (PA) before winding down in Dallas (TX) on October 2-3. The songstress is promoting her latest studio release, "Family," which was released in 2007. This is the first album which features original material written or co-written by Rimes. The album made it to No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart. She has been nominated for a CMT Music Award for the award Performance of the Year for her song "Nothin' Better to Do."
