Alternative country sensation, Lucinda Williams, has announced plans to tour in early 2009 to promote her latest released album, 'Little Honey.' The tour kick starts at Dallas, TX on Feb 19 and hits 11 cities before ending at Burlington, VT on March 13. Williams performs across a number of states in the US visiting cities like New Orleans, LA; Montclair, NJ; Peekskill, NY and Northampton, MA. After this tour in the US, Williams is expected to fly to Australia for a tour of the continent in April. You can look up dates and venues for the Australian tour on her website.
'Little Honey' was released in October last year and it features a number of guest artists like Elvis Costello, Matthew Sweet, Susanna Hoffs and bluegrass singers Jim Lauderdale and Charlie Louvin. It also features Williams' rendition of AC/DC's hit number 'It's a Long Way to the Top.'
