Indie rockers of British band Maximo Park have announced dates for their North American Tour in 2009. The tour will kick off at Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival on September 6 and will visit cities in the US and Canada before winding down at Washington, DC on September 25. Maximo Park visits Vancouver (British Columbia), Los Angeles (CA), Toronto (Ontario), New York (NY), and some other cities. On this tour, the band is promoting its fresh album, "Quicken the Heart," released on May 12. The band was formed in 2001 and earned a nomination for the Mercury Prize for its debut album "A Certain Trigger," which was released in 2005.
