Phoenix Lands in America in Fall 2009

After a three year break between albums, following their third album, 2006’s “It’s Never Been Like That”, French alternative-rock band Phoenix returns to U.S. shores this fall on a short tour promoting their newest offering, “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix”.

Of course, it’s no secret that success on the US music scene is a much-sought after pipe-dream for most foreign bands. The fact that, with just one big album under their belts, Phoenix has already been invited to promote their newest albums on the shows of such American pop-culture icons as Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman, not to mention a musical guest-shot on “Saturday Night Live”, pretty much sums up the current and likely continuing popularity of this European four-man group.
