The quintet, Sugar Ray has announced plans to tour in the summer of 2009. The tour kicks off in Las Vegas (NV) on May 29 and tours cities across the US before culminating at San Diego (CA) on September 26. The cities visited by the band include Lac Du Flambea (WI), New York (NY), St. Petersburg (FL), New Orleans (LA) and Santa Margarita (CA). The pop-rock outfit is promoting its soon to be released album "Music For Cougars." This album is the band's sixth studio release and is expected to hit the market on July 21. Prior to this album, the band released "In the Pursuit of Leisure," in 2009. It made it to #29 on The Billboard 200. The band's most successful album to date is the platinum-selling "Floored." The lead track "Fly" from the album was the band's ticket to popularity.
