Rattle and Hum Video From U2

Rattle and Hum is a sprawling double album which showcases the musical pilgrimage made by the world famous Irish Rock band, U2, across America following the multiplatinum success of The Joshua Tree. The concert film is a one of a kind sneak preview into the experiences of the band as they explore America and its musical treasures. The film is directed by Phil Joanou (Heaven's Prisoners), maker of the distractingly kinetic Three O'Clock High, and a veteran music-video director. He captures the electricity created by U2 collaborating with a black gospel choir and B.B. King. He is there to record the solemn occasion when U2 record inside the legendary Sun Records studio. He is there to capture the momentous occasion when U2 visits Graceland. He is also there at the moment when U2 does an impromptu performance of the Beatles’ ‘Helter Skelter.’

Rattle and Hum follows U2 onstage and off, showcasing giant Technicolor stadium celebrations as well as the gritty intensity of the indoor shows. Their performance of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" with a Harlem choir in a church, their take on "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and haunting version of "With Or Without You" as well as the power packed "Bullet The Blue Sky" are some of the highlights of the album.
