With over 16 million combined sales of their last five albums, and a total of over 26 million albums sold, Nickelback is definitely amongst the most successful heavy metal band of our generation. ‘Dark Horse’ is the sixth studio album by rock band Nickelback and was released on November 18, 2008. Its authentic guitar tablature is now available for sale.
The album features over 11 songs that have cover huge ground. On one hand are the typical testosterone driven songs like ''Burn It to the Ground'' and ''This Afternoon.'' On the other hand, there are raunchy, sex-dripping songs like ''S.E.X.'' and ''Shakin' Hands.'' And then there are also power ballads like ''Gotta Be Somebody'' and ''If Today Was Your Last Day.''
Here are some interesting snippets about the album. The first single from the album, “Gotta Be Somebody“, was released online for free download on September 29, 2008 for a strict 24-hour period. “If Today Was Your Last Day” was the originally planned lead single but was scrapped at the last minute. The track “Something in Your Mouth” became available for download from the U.S. iTunes store on October 28, and will be released to U.S. rock radio as the second single from the album on December 15.
